Not to be dramatic, because I certainly don't have a flair for dramatics, but my life has been complicated. I am now in my seventh year at Hogwarts. We have been in a war for several years and all I can do is hope that it will be over soon.
You see, I haven’t been allowed to help. I’m bitter; I admit it. I want to be helping but instead I am doing what I think is best for Harry… and damn do I resent it. I let him go when he asked, I bolstered his mood when I knew he needed it, and every time I did those things I felt like I was losing a part of myself.
What do I have left for me?
It wasn’t like I didn’t want to do those things for Harry. I needed to because I care about him and I knew that he was facing a hell that very few could possibly imagine but just now I’m feeling rather selfish.
So I am throwing myself into my friends, my studies and into Quidditch.
What else can I do? All of my choices have been taken from me.
